I work with people who have dementia / Alzheimer’s sometimes. When I was trying to get this little Russian lady (who used to be a music teacher and doesn’t really talk anymore) to interact with me a little, I sang her the Tetris song, because it was the only Russian melody I could come up with (even though my mom used to sing Russian songs to me when I was little). I got a smile, but no words.
